Parkinson's Disease

Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. is conducting a clinical research trial for people diagnosed with early Parkinson's disease, and who are not on levodopa treatment. Participants must meet the following criteria: Ages 30 to 80 years, inclusive, at time of Parkinson's disease diagnosis; and have idiopathic Parkinson's disease with at least two primary signs of the disease: resting tremor, bradykinesia, or rigidity. Research site located in Jacksonville, Fla.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

The Texas Research Center is conducting a clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a new investigational drug in people with moderate-to-severe systemic lupus erythematosus. Must be between ages 16-75 years and have a diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus. Research site located in Sugar Land, Texas.

Addictions

Inpatient detoxification research study for GHB (gamma hydroxy butyrate) or GHB analog users (including GBL). To participate, you must be healthy and use GHB or GBL daily, you must not be addicted to drugs or alcohol, and you will be required to stay in the hospital for 14 days in order to receive treatment. Research site located in Los Angeles, Calif.
